Landon serves as Board President and has been instrumental in elevating the organization’s impact. Through his leadership, the organization has expanded funding, introduced new programming, and developed a strong board to carry the mission forward. His work supports the continued success of a deeply rooted and meaningful cause.
Gwen is proud to serve on the board of Spina Bifida Texas, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by spina bifida through advocacy, education, and community support. My connection to this mission is deeply personal, as my daughter was born with spina bifida. It drives my commitment to advancing awareness, expanding resources, financially contributing and supporting programs that help individuals with spina bifida live full independent lives.
Mindi serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Spina Bifida Texas, where she supports the organization through financial stewardship and strategic leadership. She is committed to helping further the mission of serving individuals and families affected by spina bifida while supporting the organization’s long-term strength and impact. Her work on the board reflects both professional accountability and a genuine investment in the community.
Laura is a dedicated board member with deep roots in the community and a long-standing commitment to helping others. A graduate of The University of Texas with a master’s degree, she spent many years in education before transitioning into financial planning, where she continues to guide and support families in meaningful ways. As a mother of three, she brings both heart and real-world perspective to everything she does.
Darrin is a San Antonio–based community advocate dedicated to supporting organizations that strengthen families and improve lives. He is a committed supporter of Spina Bifida of Texas, honoring the memory of his son, Alexander Anthony Cheraso, through ongoing involvement and awareness efforts. His work reflects a sincere commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact across the community.
