Some heroes wear capes, our heroes ride!

The SB250 is an annual fundraising road cycling event organized by Suzannah Smiles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and supporting individuals affected by Spina Bifida.

The event features a challenging two-day, 250-mile ride where cyclists journey from Edinburg to San Antonio, Texas, to raise funds and awareness for Spina Bifida.

Participants in the SB250 ride not only test their endurance but also contribute significantly to the Spina Bifida community. The funds raised support various programs and services aimed at empowering individuals with Spina Bifida to live barrier-free lives and reach their fullest potential.

The event exemplifies a beautiful partnership between those with ultra-mobility and those with limited mobility—riders gift their time, skill, and energy during training and rides to lift up those affected by Spina Bifida. In turn, families living with Spina Bifida inspire and lift up the cyclists and volunteers who create the fundraising events.
