CAMP Frequently Asked Questions
How much will this cost for our family of 4?
There will be a $50 refundable deposit. This deposit will be refunded upon completion of the camp. $50 non refundable deposit will hold your spot. if you have more than 4 people in your group, you must pay $25 per person over 1 year old.
Is it immediate family only?
Yes, so we can better serve as many SB families as possible, we ask to limit it to only parents/siblings of those with SB. No nieces/nephews/friends/neighbors.
Will we be sharing a cabin?
We will attempt to keep families in their own cabin, depending how many registrants we have, we might have to put families together. If you require your own space, please let us know.
Can parents leave at night or during the day to do personal stuff?
Parents MUST be with their children throughout the day. If the parents leaves, they must take their children.
Do we need to be eligible for sponsorship to participate?
Yes, because SBTX is paying the full price of your stay, the family needs to be eligible.
Instead of being sponsored, my family would like to pay full price, how do we do that?
Contact Rosanne Gonzales and she will send you an invoice for the full price.
What activities will be included?
Archery, horseback riding, zip lining, swimming, crafts, carnival games, and education.
Will my able bodied children be able to participate too?
During activities, children with SB will go first. The able bodied children will follow if time allows. Please let them know they might not be able to participate in all the activities.
Would we be able to leave (for church)?
Unfortunately Morgan's Camp is not an in and out camp. Once you leave, we ask that you stay till you family is ready to leave for the weekend.
When can I leave in order to get my refundable deposit?
You must sign out with SBTX at 11AM to successfully get your refundable deposit.
We are so grateful that we are able to come, we don't want our deposit refunded. Can we turn that in to a DONATION?
YES! We would appreciate it, add it to your notes before check out. Those who do, will receive a special thank you gift at camp.
My child has a special diet, will you be able to cater to them?
Yes, once the fees are paid, we will send out a form about dietary needs and allergies.
We are traveling over 100 miles, do I qualify for a gas card?
Yes, the exhibitors at our resource fair are helping us by providing gas cards that are available upon check out.
When will the conference be?
Our medical professionals will do talks on Saturday morning after breakfast. 9 am -12 pm
Do adults undergo a background check?
Yes, we are requiring adults to undergo a background check. We will provide that. If they fail the background check, the reufndable despoit will not be refunded.
